Reflections about the Injil

The Messiah, the only man without sin (The Injil, chapter 4)

The Injil (text of Matthew 4.1-11)

While the Messiah is fasting for forty days and forty nights in the desert, the tempter comes near to tempt him to sin. By overcoming all these temptations, Jesus shows that he is worthy of his mission. If he had succumbed, he would have been disqualified from the outset: this mission requires him to be perfect and sinless!

The Messiah "has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin" (The Injil, Hebrews 4:15). This cannot be said of any other man in history, because all have sinned—from the very first man until you and me, including the greatest prophets (Qur’an 26:82 ; 48:2).

How was the Messiah able to resist all evil throughout his life? What was his secret? The answer is revealed in the Injil, a fascinating book that is an essential read!
